Kṣamā Prathana
yad-akṣara pada braṣṭam mātrā hīnaṁ tu yad bhavetɘ |
tat sarvaṁ kṣam-yatāṁ deva nārāyaṇa namo ‘stute ||
Prostrations to You, O Lord Narayana. Forgive me for all the mistakes in letter or phrase or for any phonetic aberration that may have occurred in my chanting.
visarga-bindu-mātrāṇi pada-pādākṣarāṇi ca |
nyūnāni cātiriktāni kṣamasva nārāyaṇa ||
Forgive me, O Narayana, for any mistake in my pronunciation of visarga, bindu or intonation of alphabet, word or phrase and any other mistakes.
aparādha sahasrāṇi kriyante ‘har-niśam mayā |
dāso ’yaṁ iti mām matvā kṣamasva nārāyaṇa ||
O Narayana, considering me as Your servant, forgive the thousands of sins committed by me throughout the day and night.
anyathā śaraṇaṁ nāsti tvameva śaraṇam mama |
tasmāt kāruṇya bhāvena rakṣa tvaṁ nārāyaṇa ||
You are my only refuge for there is none. Therefore, in Your compassion, O Narayana, protect me.
hari̍ḥ om̐ tat satɘ ǀ śrī satgurudevārpaṇām-astu
Hari is OM and the Absolute Truth. This is an offering to the Satguru.
